Welcome to Mr. and Miss IDT National Pageantry System. We are pleased and honored. Pageant Icon / Legend Tamisha Iman has created the IDT Pageantry System based on the culture of the LGBTQIA+ pageantry industry. As a national title holder and former contestant herself, this system was developed for the contestants' needs. This system is designed to give back to the pageantry community of entertainers. Often, we compete in contests, spending large amounts of money that we never receive in return or to break even. The love of competing is such an adrenaline rush. It often pulls us back into pageantry; even after a brutal defeat, most entertainers have reduced wearing their garments to once twice, three times at the most, and it sits in their closets, mostly never to be seen again. I believe everyone has a fair chance of achieving their goals. If the scores fall as they fall, everyone wants to be National. Everyone desires validation as a force to be reckoned with within the pageant community, and everyone wants to get some of their money in return; this is why Tamisha Iman created IDT pageantry for the contestants to have a safe space to do what they love to do (compete) and (make money) at the same time without paying an entry fee so it becomes truly the bonding reunion of the community ladies and gentlemen, welcome to IDT Pageantry.
